Responsible business frameworks tend to be either technical or esoteric. Whilst our 9 markers have been inspired by (and can be mapped onto) other well-known frameworks such as B Impact Assessment, Blueprint for Better Business, Good Business Charter and CSR-A, they are intentionally simple and relatable – something any employee can get their head around (even those who think purpose is ‘fluffy stuff’).
Employee surveys are notoriously lengthy and time-consuming. We’ve kept things simple – 31 statements and a few open-field questions, which employees usually answer in less than 10 minutes (definitely no need for that second cup of tea).
Diagnostic data can easily descend into a black hole of meaningless numbers. We’ve ensured data from a Purpose 9 assessment is decipherable and meaningful – even a little bit beautiful. We’re focused on providing key insights that will stimulate conversation and inform decision-making (instead of delivering ‘death by data’).
Consultancy diagnostics can easily become time-consuming, even all-encompasing. Purpose 9 takes a ‘self serve’ approach, with bite-sized support from a dedicated purpose coach. It’s fast-paced and puts you in the driving seat (no block booking of leader’s diaries required).
Call in the experts…or figure it our for yourself? Do some more digging…or get on with the fixing? The choice is yours. There’s no default consultancy programme and no hard sell – just a selection of practical modules and expert advisors available to choose from following your Purpose 9 assessment (think of it as a restaurant with a great menu…where you can also bring your own picnic).
Purpose 9 began life as a proprietary methodology for said & done (formerly ABA) – the creative consultancy helping the likes of Pfizer, British Library, London 2012 and Oxford University Press with strategic communication challenges. Purpose 9 has been forged out of their first-hand experience working with senior leaders of purpose-led businesses over the past ten years (as opposed to idea #7 scribbled on a Post It during a creative brainstorm).
